Aaron studied mathematics at the University of Konstanz (B.Sc.) before coming to Bonn for his M.Sc. to explore a wider range of mathematics. Developing an interest in more applied areas, he joined the group of Prof. Hasenauer for his Master's thesis on the mathematical modelling of biochemical processes. He is now pursuing his PhD in the group, working on mixed effects models in combination with causal inference and machine learning.
