Paul Jonas Jost studied mathematics at the University of Bonn and did his B.Sc and M.Sc there, with a focus on stochastics and numerics. After being introduced to applied mathematics in biology, he focused in his Master thesis on the advantages of propagation methods using a stochastic agent-based model. After his M.Sc he joined the group of Prof. Hasenauer as a research assistant. Paul began his PhD in the group in February 2021.
